Primary & Intermediate Schools Programme
What is the Primary & Intermediate Schools Programme?
Our Primary & Intermediate Schools Programme (PSP) is a programme offered by SIEBA and is an opportunity for young learners from around the world to learn alongside Kiwi students in primary and intermediate schools. The programme offers students between 5 and 12 years of age the chance to apply to New Zealand Schools for enrolment ranging from one week through to long term.

Why use the PSP?
The PSP offers agents a range of advantages and benefits and these include:
- Agents gain access to high quality primary and intermediate schools throughout New Zealand
- The PSP provides agents with one point of contact for all elements of recruitment and enrolment for participating schools
- There is no cost to agents for using PSP services
- A single agency agreement with SIEBA allows agents to apply for enrolment at any PSP school
- Agents have access to an experienced and specialised team to assist
- SIEBA can arrange NZ based student insurance if required
- SIEBA provides all required documents for student visa applications
- SIEBA provides pre-departure information for students and agents on behalf of schools
“Many New Zealand schools see international education as an important part of what they do; these schools are part of New Zealand’s international education industry. Education New Zealand is looking forward to working strategically with an industry-led body that will lead, connect and grow the sector.”
